I guess I have the knack of blogging to distract myself from my tasks,
I am still fretting over poetry!!!
Urrgh!!>.<
Which is so unlike me who doesn't seemed to have difficulties with poetry before this!!
My lecturer hasn't gave us the official assignment yet but he did asked us to get started with our research, which is what I'm doing now. Reading through those old English just makes my mind spin. Victorian literature is interesting in a way if you are into those activists movements and stuff but it contain such solid old English and I couldn't seemed to read between those lines. We did a poem based on the Victorian Days today during English lesson and I find it rather hard to concentrate on the poem with those..erm..Victorian terms appearing here and there>.<
I don't know how did I manage to make a rough guess of the meaning of the poem. I basically crap when my lecturer asked my group to provide answers for one of the questions given!=__=
We had a shorten period today since we hadda register for the subjects that we are bound to take for the next semester.
I was torn between Law, Psychology and World History before this. I just couldn't decide on the last subject that I wanna do for my next sem and I managed to speak to the lecturer about the subjects before I managed to decide on the other subject that I wanna do next sem.
So there's Individuals and Families in a Diverse Society which I think is a rather stewpid subject. Not stupid, but shallow. Like we hadda do a scrap book about our family, come out with an "ideal partner" and some other presentation. I don't mind the presentation and research and as for the scrap book bout the family, its more like what those kids will do=__= Like what should I talk about my family anyway! I don't know a crap bout my family history except for how my dad met my mom!xD And what puts me off is the part where we hadda imagine our "ideal partner" which I think is really shallow and dumb. Its like encouraging the girls or guys to fantasize bout something that is not bound to happen(for my case) and you know very well how much I hate spending my time thinking about all those "ideal partner" shyt!
*scoff*
"Ideal partner" indeed!
*rolled eyes*
So yeah, that family thingy is out from the list as for Challenge and Change in Society, the lecturer is not around so I'll just drop that. Which means I have Law and World History to ponder over. I finally settle down fo World History(yes, I rather educate myself with stuff like civilization, activist movements or the pyramid than to spend my time on stuff like thinking about my "ideal partner") which requires a lot of research too. And that is somewhat equals to what I am doing for my English assignment which I find it rather entertaining although at times when you didn't get the outcome you wanted things tends to get frustrating.
Mei Shan might not get Mr Meyer for her Chemistry lecturer next sem though and I do hope DD and I will be my Biology classmate!!=)
I do hope there'll be no Maths lesson tomorrow.
*cross fingers*
