I am done with this..
I stayed up last night just to finish that...And no words can describe the satisfaction I feel within me for finishing that book..
Thumbs up for Lesley Pearse for coming out with such idea..
Well, the story is mainly about Laura spending two years in jail for murdering her best friend. And the whole story is not all about her life in prison but its about the whole process of getting her out from jail for not convicting the crime. She got blamed for murdering her best friend when she's so darn innocent that time and she was recovering for the trauma from her son's death. Laura went through a traumatic childhood and her adulthood wasn't that good too. Her step father raped her..or almost raped her, her real father usually comes home drunk and I simply have no comments bout her mom since her mom is one useless mom who doesn't bother about her kids and usually spend her time smoking like a chimney and drinking..so Laura have to feed her siblings..and she came from a super poor family background till the extend she have to nick food for her little siblings. Her real dad spend his life going into the jail and coming out of it and her brothers were caught stealing. In short, she has a miserable childhood.
Till she ran away from home and met Jackie and they become best friends for life. Well things were fine at first in her adulthood life. She got married to a man whom she doesn't really love but she marry him for his money and well...she wasn't happy after that though she thought she would be. Her husband was two timing her..and even hit her when he came home drunk..

And there's more in the story where she have to adjust herself with her newfound freedom...fine I am not gonna be a spoiler but you bookwormies should get your hands on that book..its a good book but I do not recommend children under 15 to read it..xP
Mom baked bread today...Its her first time baking bread..and it was DELICIOUS=)
I have nothing much today except to attend my usual Saturday class. Half way through drawing a picture of a kidney Sarlini called and I have to answer the phone call since Sarlini doesn't call unless there's something important. She told me we have BM class at 5pm and I am still half way through my class..I have no choice but to leave at 5pm. But when I reached Pn Rash's place for my BM class she told me the class today is for the form 3's. Which means, I left early today for nothing!=__=" I'll have to go again next Wednesday to replace the class I've missed today..
Anyway, I've been watching a few comical videos from Kevjumba in Youtube..and GAWD! He's HILARIOUS!!! Sacarstic but at the same time he always manage hit the nail on the head on certain issues.
And I am off to my room..=)
