Retirement..
On Friday, we were given the green light to sit with the students during assembly..and we were also given the green light to go for our recess with the normal students...*grin*
It was AWESOME to be one of the normal students again..and since I've been a prefect for such a long time..I can't really remember how is it like being a normal student, lining up with the and also spending 20 whole minutes in the canteen doing whatever I want to do during recess. Usually, we have 5 mins break and we always gobble up our food and we weren't used to the time given to us the other day during recess and most of us find ourselves wondering what to do next after we finished our food..since we do not have to go for our duties or like me, I usually have to chase after the counsellors to know which position I am before I proceed...and well I ended up buring myself with a book while all my friends were taking their sweet time eating
The farewell...
Emotional moments.. Camwhoring moments!
For some of us who has been a prefect for soooo many years during our school life...
We finally call it a day for our career as a prefect..
Goodbye to wearing blazers every Monday and Thursdays..
No more using the bloody "Excuse me girls...", "Please" and "Thank you" phrase..
No more groaning whenever there's prefect's meeting and gathering...
No more hiding in the class whenever I reached school early morning since I do not like attending briefings..xP
No more standing glancing at my watch all the time pondering when will the assembly ended(I hated standing among the girls at times making sure they are quiet whenever the cousellors requested me to do so since it makes me feel super awakward to stand among those who are seated!)
And now, I can sit back and enjoy the sensation of being annoyed by the school prefects instead of me annoying the students by asking them to buckle up, put down their books, cut their fingernails, tie up their hair..BLAH! At times, I just have to be annoying towards the girls or I'll have to face the consequences later..well, at least I am not that kind of prefect who will take away girls belongings!! Like liquid papers, handphones and magazines. Sometimes, I'll just leave a note asking them to keep their liquid papers safely in their pencil cases instead of leaving them on the table for the prefects to take it away from them..LOL!! As for handphones...well, we were asked to take the girls phones away if its switched on..but not for me..and I remember receiving warning letters from the headprefect for laughing out loud..no kidding! I laughed so loud once(actually not once...many times in fact) and the next thing I got was that surat amaran..xP
I had a lot of memories while I was in the board..the good and the bad and leaving the board is like leaving part of my school life behind since I've been a prefect since my primary school days. But...there's a BUT there*grin*
I am glad to leave the board and enjoy my last few months in school being a normal student=)
